The coin exhibits a smooth white tone over it's entire surface. There are no scratches or marks to detract from the overall appeal of this coin. The 1893-S gets very expensive in uncirculated grades. I recently checked eBay and found an 1893-S in AU-53 for 29,000.00. I personally believe this coin is far nicer than most AU-50 graded PCGS coins. I have taken as many photos as I could to show the overall appearance and quality of the coin. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
