Description
This is for a mint sealed Monster box of 500 silver Vienna Austrian Philharmonic coins!!!  These are very hard to find!!! .999 silver On February 1st 2008 at the World Money Fair in Berlin the Austrian Mint introduced the Silver Vienna Philharmonic bullion investment coin. Although this coin is intended for silver bullion investors, the fact remains that 2008 is the first year of issue and this always will be the case, and that makes it a significant numismatic event. Initial sales of this coin far exceeded the available supply. However, ECI has been able to obtain a quantity of these coins and has had them encapsulated. It makes an attractive and interesting addition to any coin collection. For years the Austrian Mint had maintained the position that it would not issue a "Silver Philly", but in the end the demand from the market just became too loud to ignore. In Berlin, Austrian Mint Master Dietmar Spranz alluded to this fact. “A good producer listens to its market. The addition of a silver ounce to our bullion programme is a quite logical step. It once again demonstrates the Austrian Mint’s tradition and continuing competence with precious metals.”, he said. The coin design is almost identical to the gold Philharmonic coin, with a few additions. The inscription “1 Unze Feinsilber,” 1 ounce pure silver is located below the representation of the pipe organ in the Golden Concert Hall on the obverse side of the coin. The obverse also bears the country of issue Republic of Austria, “Republik Oesterreich,” the year of issue 2008, and the face value of 1.5 euros. The reverse side of the coin, bears the popular design of the bouquet of instruments, with the word silver, “Silber,” immediately above. The silver coin also has a smooth edge, (whereas the gold Vienna Philharmonic coin has a rilled edge.) Here is your opportunity to own 500 of these Silver Bullion coins and SAVE! Having a sealed lot of this first mintage may turn out to be an amazing investment!!! The Vienna Philharmonic, Europe’s leading bullion coin, has created the silver Philharmonics in the same design as the classic gold bullion coin. Minted in .999 fine silver, one side of the silver Philharmonics features selected instruments of the world famous orchestra. The other side depicts the great organ of the Golden Hall in Vienna, site of the annual New Year’s Day Concert
