Description
NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE DISCRIMINATING COLLECTOR: ANOTHER DESIRABLE WORLD GOLD COIN FROM "THE ALBANY COLLECTION"   Country: Brazil (Brasil) Date: 1907 Denomination: 20,000 Reis Reported Mintage: Just 3,310 KM (Krause-Mishler) Catalog #: 497 Gold Content: .917 Fine (22K) Actual Gold Weight (AGW): .5286 oz.  Obverse Design: Capped Liberty head Reverse Design: Southern cross and inscriptions Grading Opinion: An uncirculated coin with full original mint luster. The surfaces are undamaged, although some very slight traces of handling in the obverse fields are noted. My personal grading opinion: Brilliant Uncirculated. Reserve: This rare coin is offered with an undisclosed reasonable reserve. Additional Comments: The gold coins struck during the early years of the Brazilian Republic (1889-1922) were all issued in very limited quantities. This may be your best chance to acquire an attractive example of this large, nicely-designed type at a competitive price.  PLEASE STUDY MY ORIGINAL, UNRETOUCHED PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE ACTUAL COIN YOU ARE BIDDING ON AND FORM YOUR OWN OPINION AS TO GRADE AND VALUE. About Me: I'm not a dealer. I've been a coin collector since 1960, and started to collect gold coins of the world 15 years ago. My wife and I are getting on in years, the kids are grown and gone, and our house is now too big for just the two of us. We plan to build a snug retirement home we can spend our golden years in, but we don't want a mortgage. So, I've reluctantly decided to liquidate my precious collection of more than 600 gold coins from countries all over the world struck between 1800 and 1980. I've already sold some of the lower-valued coins as a lot, but the rest (all highly desirable and seldom-encountered gold coins in excellent states of preservation) are being listed individually during the next few months. Click Here: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZprospector23 to see my other current auctions. Or bookmark me as a "Favorite Seller" to keep up to date on my future offerings of some of the nicest world gold coins on eBay. Important Information--Please Read: -Any questions about the item should be asked prior to making your bid--I usually answer questions within 24 hours or less. -Please understand that your bid is a serious committment to buy. Non-payers will be reported to eBay and blocked from future bidding. -Payment must be received within seven days of the close of the auction unless other prior arrangements are made. All payments must be made in US dollars. According to new eBay rules, US buyers must now pay through PayPal. -All my gold coins are mounted in inert, archival-quality plastic and mylar Eagle brand holders for protection during shipping and storage. Coins may be easily removed without damage.  -Shipping to US addresses: The flat domestic shipping/handling cost of $15 includes protective packing materials and USPS First Class Insured or Registered Mail Insured delivery to US addresses only. This cost represents the average expense--to me--of sending these valuable coins with full insurance protection as a result of recently raised postal rates.  -Shipping to other countries outside the US: Payment must be made through PayPal or with a certified check or money order drawn on a US bank in US dollars within 7 days of close of auction. International buyers may also make payment by wire transfer--contact me for destination account information. No insurance is offered--the buyer must assume all risk and any customs charges which may apply. The flat international shipping/handling cost of $35 includes protective packing materials and uninsured USPS Express Mail International delivery, or by another means chosen by you, possibly at extra expense. I cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged, stolen or confiscated items outside the US. By placing a bid from outside the US, you are accepting these terms. -Items will usually be shipped within one or two business days of when funds are received, but once shipped, I have no control over delivery time, nor any delivery control at all when shipping to non-US destinations. Please do not hold me responsible for slow delivery by postal systems, especially during holiday periods or for international shipments. However, if you haven't received your coin(s) within two weeks of your payment date, contact me and I will track the package and take whatever action is reasonable to try to locate your shipment or make restitution within the above terms. -As grading is subjective, any discussions of grades or other information in the listing are solely my personal opinion. Please make your own judgment of grade and value from my unretouched original photos of the actual coin you are bidding on. If you need more information or photos, contact me before you bid. -Return policy: If, on receipt of the item, you believe the coin is substantially different from what you expected, please let me know immediately. Once I'm notified, you may return it in original condition, in its holder, at your own expense within seven days of receipt. Once received by me, your cost (excluding shipping/handling) will be returned. In order to recoup my associated eBay and/or PayPal fees which have been charged to me, I must file an "Unpaid Item Dispute" in the case of a return. If you don't cooperate in this process (resulting in no negative feedback), any such fees which I cannot recover will be deducted from the refund you receive. -Authenticity of my coins is guaranteed. All coins I offer are believed to be absolutely genuine. If a major certification service finds the item you purchased to be not genuine, I will refund your entire purchase price, as well as your shipping costs. You must return the coin to me along with the written opinion of the certification service within 60 days of receipt in order to receive this refund, and cooperate in the "Unpaid Item Dispute" process as described above. As grading standards differ among the services, please note that I can offer no guarantee on the grading opinion of the certification service. If you are unsatisfied with the grade of the coin, you must return it within 7 days of receipt (see above Return Policy). -I believe in the eBay feedback system and encourage its use. I have a nearly perfect positive feedback rating over hundreds of transactions since 1999, and I strive to keep it that way, so if you are unhappy in any way, please contact me before you post anything but positive feedback for me. I will post positive feedback for you as soon as your payment is made (I don't wait to see your feedback first as many sellers do). -All coins are kept in my bank vault until sold. Therefore, personal pickup is not possible unless special arrangements are made. Notice to non-US residents: Although I am now shipping Worldwide, packages to non-US destinations will have no insurance, and I cannot accept any risk once the package leaves my hands. By bidding on this auction, you are agreeing to accept all risk. If you do not think this is fair, please don't bid. (See above for specific terms) THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK FROM PROSPECTOR23!
