It is 22 karat gold proof quality with a diameter of 27 mm and weighs 16.965 grams of which 15.551 grams (1/2 Troy oz) are fine gold. Contains 91.66% fine gold and 8.34% fine silver. The obverse shows Queen Elizabeth II and reads "D.G. Regina" and Elizabeth II". The reverse depicts the design of artist John Jaciw of Windsor, and features a ship of the era on the left, an anchor in the center, and the Marconi tower on the right.
